On October 27, 2025, the academic symposium on "Ye Ziming and the Development of Modern and Contemporary Chinese Literature" was held by the Center For research of Chinese New Literature of 优米直装下载app — a Key Research Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences of the Ministry of Education. Chen Yunsong, Vice Chair of the University CPC Council, attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech.

At the opening ceremony, the awarding ceremony for the fifth "Ye Ziming Academic Scholarship" and the unveiling ceremony of the "Liberated-Area Literature Research Institute (Yan'an University Research Base)" were held.

The opening ceremony was chaired by Professor Zhang Guangmang, Executive Director of the Center For research of Chinese New Literature of NJU. Professor Dong Xiao, Dean of the School of Liberal Arts at NJU and Director of the Center For research of Chinese New Literature of NJU; Professor Liu Yong, President of Institute of Literature, CASS; Professor Yang Yang, President of China Association of Mao Dun Studies; and Professor Zheng Jiajian, President of Fujian Normal University, addresses at the ceremony.

More than sixty experts and scholars gathered in Nanjing to commemorate the academic legacy of the late predecessor and explore future directions for the discipline. The symposium not only served as a tribute to an academic giant of a generation but also, through systematically reviewing the discipline's intrinsic evolution, envisioned the enduring forms and transformative trajectories of humanistic spirit in the new era.
